About the Event
Join us for a special screening of KEMA, an intimate portrait of a Black woman’s journey to heal, reclaim her voice, and root herself in the rhythms of nature. Set against the lush backdrop of Costa Rica, the film invites us to reflect on what it means to live intentionally, grieve fully, and embody freedom on our own terms.
We’ll kick off in the lobby of the Cine Magaly, connect over a casual group lunch, and close with a visioning session to shape the future of Black Everywhere in Costa Rica.
Whether you're a long-time expat, a newcomer, or just visiting, you're welcome in this space.
Come see what we're building and how you can be part of it.
