Hello everyone! My name is Michael, I am a Poet, Writer, and Positive Psychology Coach here on Substack, plus itโ€™s such a pleasure to know everyone thatโ€™s here in the DC area. This is my hometown, as I was born here 8n DC, grew up in DC, Arlington, and Alexandria, VA. My aunt moved me to Manassas, VA last Summer 2024 because sh3 couldnโ€™t take care of me anymore and I have a number of medical conditions. Fortunately, nowadays I am doing pretty well and in good spirits. I am brand new to Black Everywhere and this Washington, DC group. Looking forward to the two different meetings this evening at 4pm and 5pm today!

I went with intrepid and had a nice time. Some places there with high elevation get a lil chilly ๐Ÿฅถ so pack a light jacket.

Hey fam! I joined BE in 2023. My intent is to find my community/my tribe. By day I work as a compensation practitioner for an insurance and financial services company. By night, I'm working to develop my real estate and stock portfolios so that I don't have to rely solely on W-2 income (and to enable me to become a digital nomad).


Some things that I love:

Live music (love City Winery and any event with a live performance)
