Join Black Everywhere for a day of celebrating the Culture with food, music, and the joy of the diaspora! Here’s what you need to know:
Celebrate the Culture: We're bringing together the food, music, and joy of the diaspora for a day of love and sunshine. It's almost Juneteenth, so why not?!
Event Origins: This event is the brainchild of our members Johanna and Akudo, with a big thanks to Greg for hosting.
Location: We’ll be gathering in a public park, but if you're willing to host us in your backyard, that's even better! Contact us if you're open to hosting at your place.
Arrival Time: Please arrive no later than 4:30pm because we’re trying to eat!
What to Bring: Bring your lawn chair, games, and your twist on your favorite "cultural" dish to the party. Whether it's beef patties, saltfish, fried chicken, vegan or regular jollof rice, mac-n-cheese, Sorrel,…
