Black Everywhere operates the Black Everywhere mobile application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

  • We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number (optional), profile details, event RSVPs, trip selections, messages you send, and payment information. All payments are processed securely through Wix Payments.

  • We also collect basic technical data automatically, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, log activity, and app usage details.

  • We currently use Google Analytics and third-party login options such as Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.

  • We may use additional tools in the future, such as Firebase, Crashlytics, Mixpanel, Segment, Sentry, or Meta Ads. If new tools are added, they will be used only to improve app experience, performance, or security.

  • We do not collect approximate or precise location data.

How We Use Information

  • We use the information we collect to create accounts, operate the app, provide event and trip services, process payments, improve performance, send notifications, offer customer support, maintain security, and meet legal or financial requirements.

  • We do not sell your personal information.

  • How Information Is Shared

  • We may share information with service providers who support app operations, such as hosting, analytics, authentication, or payment processing.

  • We may share limited information with event or trip partners as needed to deliver the services you request.

  • We may share information with team members or volunteers who help support the community.

  • We will share information with law enforcement if required by law.

  • We do not share information with advertisers for targeted ads.

Your Choices

  • You can update your profile in the app.

  • You can manage notifications in your device settings.

  • You can email support@blackeverywhere.org with questions.

  • You can delete your account in the app or by emailing support@blackeverywhere.org. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data unless we must keep some information for legal or financial reasons.

Data Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for app operations, event and trip services, accounting, or compliance. After that, we delete or anonymize the information.

Security
We use reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.

Children’s Privacy
The app is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will delete it.

International Users
If you use the app from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top and post the new version in the app or on our website.
