• Looking for an opportunity to give back? What better way than serving a meal to some of Philadelphia's citizens experiencing homelessness?

Event Details:

• ⚠️ SERIOUS COMMITMENTS ONLY! We have limited slots, so RSVP only if you're firmly committed to attending.
• 📝 All new volunteers must create an account on Philly House's website and sign a waiver here.

About Philly House:

• 🏠 "For over 140 years, Philly House has been a sanctuary, empowering the homeless, hungry, and hurting of Philadelphia. Today, we remain the second oldest homeless shelter in the country."

Volunteer Information:

• 🚨 IMPORTANT: Create an account and sign up online; showing up on the day of the event without prior registration is not allowed.
• 👥 This service event is for adults 18 years and older only. Engage in meal service tasks, including plating food, serving guests in the dining room, clearing dishes, and assisting with cleaning.

Dress Code:

• 👟 Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). Pants and socks are required. Hairnets, aprons, and plastic gloves will be provided.

Parking:

• 🚗 FREE PARKING LOT on the north side of Vine Street West. Cross 13th Street, and make the next right into the lot between Roman Catholic High School and the facility. Look for the sign on the gate just before the entrance. If you hit Broad Street, you’ve gone too far.
