Take a stroll to the Temple of Doom Bridge! (Philadelphia, PA)

Join Black Everywhere Philadelphia for an exhilarating 3-mile hike to the famous Swinging Bridge in Princeton, NJ, affectionately dubbed the "Temple of Doom Bridge" by our adventurous crew. This event offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature and fellow hikers while enjoying a scenic and fun-filled day outdoors.

• Hiking Details:Trail Experience: We’ll wander through easy trails, cross the iconic swinging bridge, and engage in some birding along the way. It’s a chance to enjoy the beauty of nature and experience a bit of adventure. Meeting Point: We will gather at the Princeton Battlefield State Park parking lot for a brief meet and greet before we set out on our hike. Ensure you arrive on time as we’ll be leaving promptly at 10:00 a.m.
• Important Notes:Weather Contingency: Please be aware that the event is contingent upon favorable weather conditions. In the case of lightning or ice, the hike may be canceled for safety reasons. Gear and Preparation: Wear sturdy hiking boots or sneakers with good traction, and bring a bottle of water, as well as optional items like bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat or scarf. Don’t forget to bring your EpiPen or inhaler if needed.
• Post-Hike Plans: After the hike, we have the option to grab lunch together before heading home, providing a great opportunity to chat and get to know fellow members.

• Trail Conditions: The hike will cover mixed terrain and wooded areas, so be prepared for some mud and varying conditions. There are no restrooms on the trail, so plan accordingly.
