Howdy y'all, I'm Kai. I've had my hair natural for the majority of my life, but I'm still a newb to haircare. I'm primarily Black and Mexican which has meant a lot of trial and error with little success due to the differing textures. Currently getting by with coconut oil to help moisturize and a weekly wash. I'm hoping to pick up some tips here in the meantime

Exercise without ๐ฅต my hair?
Does anyone have tips for not sweating out natural hairstyles while working out?

Hey ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ, I'm Janine. I've been natural for thirteen years. I've honestly have been seeing real length retention over the past two years. I've struggled off and on over these years with bouts of stress induced alopecia. I'm really proud of where my coils are now and I'm going to keep taking good care of me. Looking forward to learning and sharing tips for all things hair & self care.

Im considering doing this. Is it worth the expense? Is it high maintenance?

I used to take my youngest daughter to get a silk press. The only thing is when you sweat its a wrap. ๐๐
