Coming Together
I usually prefer to steer clear of politics, but I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude for being part of this group. Thank you all for welcoming me! There’s so much going on with the current administration, and honestly, it weighs heavy on my heart. I believe it’s crucial for our communities to unite and work towards making things better for everyone. The future may be uncertain, but I truly believe that together, we can find ways to create positive change for ourselves, our families, and our neighborhoods. Let’s support each other and lift each other up.

Wow, celebrating the 4th of July can be really complicated. Once you start to see the bigger picture, it’s hard to ignore the feelings of exclusion that many of us experience. My heart aches for this country because I want it to be better for everyone. But in the midst of that, I find hope in the idea of shaping the future. It’s so important to teach younger generations about our history and our legacy—what it truly means to us. Staying true to who we are matters deeply to me, and I believe that passing on these values is one of the most significant things we can do. Just my thoughts.
