Heyyyyyyy 👋🏽

Some rooms don’t just inspire you — they confirm what you’re becoming. 🦋

Two times, I attended Black Enterprise’s Women of Power Summit as a corporate guest… and I remember sitting in that room thinking: one day, I’ll return in a different capacity.

Expectancy in motion: this year, for the 20th Anniversary, I’m returning as approved media — as the creator and host of Women of Color: An Intimate Conversation, a 100 Best Women’s Empowerment podcast.

Why it matters: these rooms are where culture, capital, and leadership collide — and where Black women are shaping what’s next in business, tech, and power.

I’m hoping to connect with leaders like Carla Harris, Cynt Marshall, fellow Detroiter Roz Brewer, Jotaka Eady (I was one of the 44,000), Sandra Douglass Morgan — a history-maker in the NFL — and Bozoma Saint John. Women whose impact moves culture.

I’ll be covering the summit through that lens — the takeaways, the moments, and the leadership truths that deserve to travel far beyond the room.

✨ If you’d like to attend, Black Enterprise provided a $400 discount code for media/sponsors to share: WPSMEDIA26

Question: What’s a room that shifted what you believed was possible for you?

Wow, love this! It’s inspiring to see how spaces like this can shape and reflect the growth of Black women in leadership. 🦋
